We are delighted to welcome the Rt. Rev. Jeff W. Fisher, Regional Bishop for the East Region of the Diocese of Texas, to Christ the King Episcopal Church–Atascocita on Sunday, September 20.
Bishop Fisher will celebrate our 10:00 a.m. service, during which we will celebrate Confirmations and Transfers. Following the service, we will gather for a reception and an opportunity to meet and visit with Bishop Fisher.
Bishop Fisher was elected Bishop Suffragan and consecrated in 2012. He is known for his compelling preaching, emphasis on evangelism, and encouragement of lay ministry. In addition to his parish visitations, he serves in pastoral ministry with active and retired clergy and their families and serves on numerous diocesan and church-related boards and committees.
