At Christ the King, we joyfully encourage children and youth to fully engage in worship and our ministries to others. Our ministry to children and youth is one of inclusion and participation. Families of all backgrounds and structures are welcome.

Children's ministries
Ages 4 through 5th grade

Children are  welcome at all services. From time to time Children's chapel for children through the fifth grade is available during the 10:30 am worship service with the children being escorted to the sanctuary during announcements in time for Communion.

Our staff and volunteers complete training and background checks througnthe Safeguarding God's Children program from The Episcopal Diocese of Texas (EDOT).

Emily Lalor is our minister to Youth and Children. She says:

My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where all children feel loved, have fun, and grow in their relationships with one another and with Jesus Christ. I hope our youth experience meaningful fellowship not only within our church walls, but also throughout our community and in special places like Camp. It is a joy to support and encourage each child as they grow in faith and friendship.

Breakfast with Santa

Breakfast with Santa is a tradition at Christ, the King. Our church partners with the fire department, the Constable's office, and other local businesses for a morning of treats, crafts, games, and a visit with St. Nick.
