Through the parable of the servant whose enormous debt is forgiven but who refuses to forgive a much smaller debt, Jesus illustrates the extraordinary mercy we have received and our responsibility to extend that mercy to others. God forgives you, and God loves you; surely that is enough to move on, living our lives graciously, forgiving others.
