We Episcopalians believe in a loving, liberating, and life - giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As constituent members of the Anglican Communion in the United States, we are descendants of and partners with the Church of England and the Scottish Episcopal Church and are part of the third largest group of Christians in the world.
We believe in following the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose life, death, and resurrection saved the world.
We have a legacy of inclusion, aspiring to tell of and exemplify God's love for every human being:
women and men serve as bishops, priests, and deacons in our church.
Laypeople and clergy cooperate as leaders at all levels of our church.
Leadership is a gift from God and can be expressed by all people in our church, regardless of race, sexual identity or orientation.
We believe that God loves you - no exceptions.
Our main entrance is located on the south side of the building directly in front of the parking lot.
Persons with limited mobility are invited to park in the handicapped parking in front of the entrance to the building.
Someone will likely greet you when you enter and hand you a small booklet called a "bulletin". Everything you need to follow for our service is in the bulletin.
Sit where you wish, as there are no "bad seats" in God's house. Restrooms are located in the far corner of our sanctuary building.
What should I wear?
Wear what you are comfortable in. Some people have a "Sunday best" that gives them joy, and some prefer jeans and a tee shirt.
The priest has to dress basically as an upholstered chair, and Jesus wore sandals!
Service begins at 8:30am and
10:00am, but friends begin arriving as early as 15 minutes beforehand.
If you happen to come late, please do not hesitate to enter through any door. We are glad to see you whenever you get here!
If you prefer to worship in peace and quiet, orderliness and solemnity, please consider the 8:30 am service.
You may see people dipping their finger in the Baptismal font and crossing themself as they enter. They may bow and cross themselves during the service.
None of this is required, whether you do it or not, you are not wrong.
We will stand during some parts of the service and sit or kneel during others. The bulletin will give you guidance but participate as you are able and comfortable.
All people are welcome to come to the altar rail. Baptized Christians may receive communion, others a blessing.
If you wish to come forward for communion, simply follow the person in front of you. You may receive bread only, or bread and wine. Let the priest know if you would like a gluten free option.
You can also come forward for a blessing by crossing your hands over your chest. Or stay in your seat during communion. Whatever makes you comfortable.
Children are welcome at any time.
Childcare and Sunday School are provided for children 1-10.
Childcare for children under the age of 4 provided during the 10:00am service only.
Middle and high school youth classes and activities are coming in the fall of 2025.
