Each year, Christ the King Episcopal Church-Atascocita gathers for the blessing of the animals and recognition of the love and companionship we share with God's creatures. Parishioners bring their pets to receive a blessing, giving thanks for the joy they bring into our lives. Mother Catherine offers prayers and blessings for several beloved dogs, accompanied by their owners, in a moment a fellowship, gratitude and care for all of God's creation.
